My experience spans 7 impactful years at IBM, where I worked in transformative programs across Europe, revolutionising billion-dollar enterprises:

• I achieved a remarkable 20% growth within just 18 months for one of the largest banking clients in the global Financial Services Sector.
• As a trusted advisor to a Client Sponsor, I regularly presented critical insights that significantly influenced board-level strategic decisions during the largest change initiative undertaken on the client's estate.

Now, I leverage this experience to support business founders as their advisor and coach.

    Deployment & Readiness Project Manager & Business Change Partner - Retail Services Client worth $2bn - May 2018 - April 2020

     

    Client success is at the forefront of everything I deliver.

     

    - I worked as a key asset on one of the most complex Systems Integrations programmes in Europe, revolutionising a $2bn business. This client entrusted IBM to implement this solution and I acted as a key delivery lead. 

     

    - Led a team of senior technical and delivery focussed people taking accountability for Cutover workstream for a complex solution.

     

    - Worked with and influenced FS board members to produce a strategy for dealing with Failure Scenarios to ensure the Business can remain viable through the implementation period.

     

    - I investigated failure scenarios for the major Financial Transformation. The brief was high level and within 2 weeks of joining, I presented to the Client Sponsor / FS Digital Transformation Director. This was well received and taking on his feedback, I developed failure scenarios. I used workshops with the relevant specialists to understand the solution and potential points of failure and then worked with the Business. I developed a risk and impact profile and used this to demonstrate where mitigations were required. The Client Sponsor presented my findings to the FS board and kickstarted discussions for mitigations required by the business i.e. building of a cashflow buffer in case of issues in recognising cashflow through the Go Live. This is critical as evidence of cashflow is required on a daily basis to the Securitisation banks to allow the Business to continue to operate.

    Results – this shaped Board level thinking in terms of how they will mitigate business risk through implementation and beyond, and helped to identify key first occurrences that merited extra care.

     

    - I defined Readiness criteria and assessment framework to provide ability to assess Readiness at key checkpoints leading up to Go Live.

    This has been used to enable critical decision making by the Business Steering and FS Board. 

    This was the biggest change ever to be delivered on the client estate and as a result, informed decision making was absolutely critical to the ongoing success of the business. Without this, there could be financial, regulatory and reputational impacts.

     

     

    Commercial Lead - Large Banking Client worth £33bn - May 2014 - April 2017

    - Sole ownership of Financials for one of the largest banking clients in FSS worldwide. I facilitated a 20% growth within an 18 month period.
    Achieved exceptional revenue yield and profit on this account, doubling gross profit within a 6 month period.


    - I standardised accounting processes as Commercial Manager across this account.


    - I drove process improvement for the largest (to date) contract improving a complex billing and debt collection process, resulting in improved debt collection by 35% in two quarters.


    - I supported and drove the price release of key account deals resulting in signings in excess of $60M.


    - I was heavily involved in off-shore team management (planning, training, supporting and supervising).


    - I was integral to the successful delivery of a complex Test Transformation project where I defined key future state Financial / Resourcing metrics and dashboards.


    - I was lead planning SME for Group Functions, Mortgages, Lending, Collections and Personal Banking workstreams.


    - I drove process improvement for weekly BAU ingestion process to create an Integrated Project plan, by improving interlocks with Planning leads and transitioning process to an Offshore team. This resulted in reduction of weekly timeframe to completion by 66%, increasing team productivity and value to the client.
